The Fall season is here! I love this time of year as the leaves change and God displays His handywork in a different way across our wonderful nation. As I write this, the second cutting of hay is being cut and bailed. I remember those days well. The smell of fresh cut hay and the hard work to put it in the barn. I remember that very well. Those days have long since passed in my life. But our Lord remains the same.

Sometimes life gets so crazy and filled with constant changes. We search for a ‘constant’ something that becomes a foundation to stand on. Some turn to various forms of sin and define those things as their ‘constant’. Over time, this becomes the normalcy of your life. Some feel their current state is their ‘constant’. You may think you are stuck where you are and the devil has you believing you are always going to be ‘less than.’ However, God is the only constant. He has the answer. You will never be ‘less than’ to God. He created you specifically for a purpose. The devil will tell you that you have no purpose. But remember, in John 8:44, Jesus said the devil is a liar and the father of it. You have purpose. Surrender to Jesus with you whole heart and He will fill you with purpose.

If you feel isolated due to divorce, addiction, hidden sin, or any other circumstance. Do not feel alone. No one in our congregation is better than you and we will not treat you that way.
